Chapel and services
The chapel is located on the ground floor of Rotorua Hospital beside the Children’s Unit. It is a quiet peaceful setting overlooking Mount Ngongotaha.
The chapel is open during the day. After hours it can be opened by contacting the switchboard.
The chapel is frequently used by people coming in to pray or simply to sit in quiet reflection.
There is a book for people to write prayers in if they desire, and the chaplain offers these prayers to God.
Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions services are currently on hold.
To contact a Chaplain please ask a staff member. Alternatively you can call the hospital directly (Rotorua 07 348 1199, Taupō 07 376 1000) or contact Chaplaincy Administrator Alison Lamberton.
