Resources for nurses

Access to Lippincott Procedures and Lippincott Advisor is free for registered nurses working in the community.  

• Lippincott Procedures is a comprehensive, evidence based procedures and competency resource. It is updated regularly and is NZ specific.
• Lippincott Advisor provides evidence based nursing clinical decision support and patient teaching handouts.  It has NZ and Australian content.

Organisations within Te Whatu Ora Lakes can access Lippincott Procedures and Advisor by supplying the name of the organisation and the IP address to the Library. 

Alternatively individuals can access Lippincott Procedures and Advisor by logging on to Ko Awatea Learn (use Chrome or Firefox) which you use for professional development.

If you do not already have a Ko Awatea account, click on Create a new account.  

When you login after this look under My Courses for Lippincott.

An app is available for your mobile device. 

When you go into Lippincott Procedures or Lippincott Advisor, click on Login, fill in the form and click on Self Enroll.

Download the app, and login with the username and password you just created.
