CHRISTMAS MENU AT LAKES DHB HOSPITALS



Patients who are in Rotorua Hospital on Christmas Day have some delicious Christmas food to choose from for Christmas lunch and dinner.

The Christmas lunch being served to patients includes Christmas ham or roast lam, served with roast potatoes, kumara, pumpkin and peas. There is also a vegetarian option which is a filo vegie parcel. Dessert will be Christmas pudding and custard or fruit salad.

More Christmas fare is served later in the day. Dinner is orange glazed chicken served with savoury rice and vegetable, or cold meats and salad or vegetarian quiche. Dessert is jelly and ice cream or stewed fruit or fruit salad.

At Taupo Hospital there is ham or turkey on offer with the trimmings, and for dessert there’s plum pudding and custard, or jelly and ice cream or fruit salad.

Hospital staff rostered to work at both Rotorua and Taupo Hospitals on Christmas Day have a special Christmas lunch or dinner with a similar menu.
