Pop up COVID testing this Saturday 19 September at Punawhakareia Marae, Rotoiti
10am - 12noon

People working in the areas of hospitality, travel (bus and taxi drivers), tourism and motel/hotel accommodation are all encouraged to be tested.

If you work in these sectors you do not have to have symptoms of respiratory illness to get a test, and are encouraged to make time to have one. No need for an appointment, just pop in anytime between 10am and 12pm on Saturday to be tested, or to our community testing stations between 9am and 4pm. This is part of our planned surveillance programme.

As with previous pop-up testing centres we will also be offering flu vaccinations and throat swabs, along with COVID testing.

Lakes DHB has other community pop-up testing centres planned and will advertise them once they are confirmed.

The community testing centres at Rotorua and Taupō are currently not open at the weekend.

Taupo – 79 Miro Street, Taupo
