The Medical Unit comprise of a 40 bed acute unit treating cardiac, respiratory, diabetic (link to Diabetes) and general medical patients. (link to Consultant Physicians)
The unit has close links with CCU via the telemetry service and the rehabilitation team based in Older Persons/Rehabilitaion Service, (OPRS)
